JobSummary: As a Contract Planner with HV grid expertise, youwill play a key role in our project management team, focusing onplanning and scheduling for HV grid projects in collaboration with ourclient, National Grid. The ideal candidate will have substantialexperience in high-voltage infrastructure projects and proficiency inPrimavera P6 software.
Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6software, ensuring alignment with project objectives and clientrequirements.
Collaborate closely with project managers,engineers, and stakeholders to gather project scope, objectives, andconstraints for effective schedule development.
Conductschedule analysis, identify critical paths, and propose strategies tooptimize project timelines and resource utilization.
Monitorproject progress and performance against established schedules,identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to maintainproject timelines.
Prepare regular progress reports andpresentations for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones,risks, and issues affecting project schedules.
Workcollaboratively with the project team to ensure schedule integrationwith cost control, risk management, and procurement activities.
Support project planning activities from initiation through tocompletion, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatorystandards.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or a related field.
Proven experience (minimum 6years) in project planning and scheduling, particularly withinhigh-voltage grid projects.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6software for schedule development and management.
Excellent analyticalskills with the ability to interpret complex project data and makeinformed scheduling decisions.
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and bestpractices related to HV grid projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP)certification or equivalent.
Experience working on projects forNational Grid or similar utility companies.
Familiarity withother project management tools and software applications.
