Teaching Assistant with SEN experience

Immediate start possible, as well as September starts considered

Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs access learning and thrive within school? We are working in partnership with schools across Christchurch to find dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEN or behavioural needs. The schools are mainstream primary schools, however they have high percentages of SEN pupils in need of additional support and provision. The ideal candidate will therefore have a genuine care for providing high-quality support, and the ability to tailor their approaches to meet the needs of the individual pupils. Since every child is unique, we need Teaching Assistants who are willing to develop their practice, be patient with pupils, and be proactive in being a consistent adult who can adapt to a variety of needs.

Experience working with children, in particular, children with special educational needs

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £12.82 per hour. The working hours are from 8:30-15:30 and the role will be term-time only, enabling you to enjoy the school holidays.

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
