Multi Disciplined Maintenance Engineer - Rugeley Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Discipline)
Contract / Shift: Permanent - Days, with occasional nights to cover holiday / Sickness.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued member of a highly skilled Maintenance Team working with brand new state-of-the-art automation in a fast-growing area of our business.
The role of the Multi-Disciplined Maintenance Engineer / Technician is to provide first class customer support to the Operations team.
Performing Preventive Maintenance activities, responding effectively to breakdowns, monitoring equipment performance and providing valuable input to help maintain process yields and efficiencies.
Flexibility in working across our two sites (Rugeley and Fradley) and supporting the other members of the team, working weekends and overtime when required.
Provide assistance to the Projects Team in implementing changes to equipment.
Continuous Improvement is an important part of our site’s culture, so you will also have the opportunity to propose or contribute to initiatives and projects that improve our operations.
Experience of Maintenance Engineering within a safety critical environment, specifically have experience and skills in fault finding and problem solving on high volume and high-tech equipment, such as PLC’s, packing lines, mixers, compressors.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and have the ability to work on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Hold an Engineering Maintenance Apprenticeship qualification or similar (multi-skilled or cross-skilled)
Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical diagnostic and development capability
Significant experience in a similar environment preferably with working knowledge of working within a mill / food environment, fault diagnostics, analysis and countermeasure implementation including multi skilled working practices and capabilities.
Proof of ability to plan effectively for both projects / maintenances.
Able to work in confined spaces.
Experience of PLC fault-finding
~ IPAF License (or similar)
~ Forklift Truck license.
~Electrical inspection and test
