Role Specification

As an Implementation Engineer at Rainbird, you will deliver trustworthy AI solutions for our clients and partners using our unique Decision Intelligence platform.

This is a full-time role, working both face-to-face and remotely with our clients and partners. Your focus will be to rapidly build AI explainable and trustworthy AI models by leveraging Rainbird’s technology alongside that of our ecosystem partners.

Rainbird is low-code and does not require you to have experience in software engineering. The role will require you to gain an understanding of the clients domain expertise and objectives, and transform that knowledge into AI systems that can deliver automated decision intelligence at scale. You will be involved in building rapid field demos, Proofs of Value, Pilots or Full-scale projects.

Working within our multi-disciplined Professional Services team, you will collaborate with others who are experienced at using the Rainbird platform and other technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs). Our team are friendly and collaborative and will provide you with all the training and support required to help you become an AI expert, leveraging our market leading technology .

While we operate a flexible working policy, you will need to be able to work predominantly from our Norwich office for the majority of your working week. The client facing nature of the role also means some travel nationally and internationally may be required, but this is typically no more than 10%.

The Rainbird Professional Services Team sets the gold standard for implementing solutions within the Rainbird Platform and we provide a wide range of services to our clients and partners, from needs analysis and prototyping to consulting, support and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and interpret business knowledge to develop effective AI models that enable clients to digitise and scale knowledge services. .
  • Become an expert in, and champion of the Rainbird platform and continually expand your skill level so that you represent a “black belt” standard within the market.
  • Engage with clients and partners to help them implement Rainbird in their projects, working to transfer your skills to others.
  • Discover and document new types of projects, creating blueprints that can be used by others.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and partners, and proactively work with them to find new opportunities for Rainbird projects.
  • Contribute to client and partner proposals and statements of work, helping them define the essential value that working with Rainbird will deliver.
  • Take an essential role in the sales process by building field demos, PoCs and pilots that demonstrate both the value and speed of working with Rainbird.
  • Deliver coaching to clients and partners to enable their use of Rainbird,
  • Produce coaching and training materials that can be added to the Rainbird Academy so that anyone can learn how to use Rainbird.
  • Identify requirements for new platform features that will meet your clients’ needs, and support the Platform Engineering team in building them.
  • Provide clients and partners with support in line with our service level agreements.

Skills
  • A good understanding of knowledge graphs, ontologies, and semantic technologies.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) principles.
  • Expertise in business analysis related to commercial operations.
  • Experience in process modelling, business process management (BPM), digital process management (DPM) and/or process automation.
  • Experience in business stakeholder management, and client engagement.
  • Experience working with APIs, especially RESTful APIs and JSON.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to coach/support the onboarding of new partners and clients.
  • Experience working directly with clients and partners, both in-person and virtually.

We don’t expect prior experience in Artificial Intelligence but business analysis related to commercial operations is advantageous.
