They are seeking a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join their in-house payroll team ensuring accuracy with all aspects of payroll processing with a particular focus on deadlines and compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will have exposure to elements of pension processing, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their skills in payroll administration.

Process a high-volume payroll for their multi-sited workforce, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation
Maintain payroll records, including employee information, tax data and hours worked
Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist in the administration of pension schemes, including calculating contributions and liaising with pension providers
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payroll processes and accurate reporting

Proven experience with an in-house payroll
Proficient in payroll software and particularly Microsoft Excel
