An opportunity has arisen to join an excellent Social Housing provider in Cornwall on a permanent basis in a senior position within the Property Services department.

The position as the Compliance Manager is on a permanent basis, specialising in Property Compliance and managing employees and apprentices within the Property Services department.

Responsibilities would primarily include:
  • Managing the compliance relating to Gas; Electrical; Absestos Regulations; Fire; and Building Safety
  • To manage the performance of members of staff within the Property Services department, providing coaching to staff and apprentices, and identifying development needs
  • Focussing on Health and Safety compliance relating to the Property Services department
  • To ensure that contract and procurement arrangements are in line with company procedures
  • Liaising with customers to assess opportunities for growth and development within the service area
Job Details

An opportunity has arisen to join an excellent Social Housing provider in Cornwall on a permanent basis in a senior position within the Property Services department.

The position as the Compliance Manager is on a permanent basis, specialising in Property Compliance and managing employees and apprentices within the Property Services department.

Responsibilities would primarily include:
  • Managing the compliance relating to Gas; Electrical; Absestos Regulations; Fire; and Building Safety
  • To manage the performance of members of staff within the Property Services department, providing coaching to staff and apprentices, and identifying development needs
  • Focussing on Health and Safety compliance relating to the Property Services department
  • To ensure that contract and procurement arrangements are in line with company procedures
  • Liaising with customers to assess opportunities for growth and development within the service area
The ideal person would possess/ have experience in:
  • Level 5 in a construction related discipline
  • Evidence of CPD qualifications
  • Experience in managing and developing a team
  • Full driving license
