White Label are very excited to be supporting one of our key manufacturing clients with recruiting for an experienced Contracts/ Project Manager for their Rochdale office. The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee our contract processes and ensure the smooth execution of agreements vital to our external operations. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to implement new processes and procedures, and support the successful growth of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to really add value and progress within the company, with a view to becoming Contract Director in the near future. Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, sales, procurement, and operations teams, to ensure contracts meet business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and optimize opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners to foster mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline contract processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of terms and dispute resolution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and legal developments relevant to contract management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in contract management within the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of commercial and legal principles.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards, such as GDPR and ISO certifications.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to anticipate and address potential issues proactively.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering teamwork and driving results.

Package:
  • £55-65k basic
