Wayman Education is looking for a Year 6 teacher in Luton, Bedfordshire This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a Good primary school in East of England. The school is looking to appoint a class teacher who will enjoy teaching an academic yet creative, topic-based curriculum in a school with exceptional pastoral care.

Year 6 Teacher Permanent Role

The School

This is a spectacular and welcoming two-form entry school in Luton, Bedfordshire. The school has a Good Ofsted rating. The school is happy to consider applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs. The school has a supportive culture and is an excellent place for both students and staff members.

As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment
Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknesses
Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
Keeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parents

QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner
Able to communicate your passion to children and parents
