Our work is essential to enable HS2 trains to travel between London and Birmingham as well as continue their journey up to Manchester. It’s an incredibly exciting time to join us - we’re at peak construction with work really ramping up on a broad range of assets including bridges, tunnels and viaducts. This role will be based on site in Water Orton, The project’s most complex network of structures in the West Midlands, this sublot includes the Delta Junction - a triangular section of the high-speed railway made up of nine precast segmental viaducts, embankments, and other bridging structures, with around 10km of track crossing a network of motorways, roads and rivers.

To provide guidance and control of a team comprising, Section Foremen, Junior Foremen and Gangers. Monitoring and management of budget for MSM direct works. Contribution to change control and assistance with the production of contract mechanisms for cost recovery. Periodic involvement in project steering groups and cross-discipline action groups.

Experience working on a large structures & Pre-cast Segments within an infrastructure project

• Strong experience of minimum 5 years in the role of Foreman for self-delivery complex heavy civil works Projects mandatory (Dams, bridges, Power Plants, Stadiums…)

• Strong work ethic with flexibility to work night shifts and Weekends.

• Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card, or able to register for CSCS card once mobilized on the Project.

•Experience in deck erection works, involving post tensioning activities, either precast or cast in situ

Balfour Beatty VINCI is a long-established joint venture between two powerhouses for the delivery of critical infrastructure across rail, transport and other iconic projects in the UK and beyond. Our work with HS2 Balfour Beatty VINCI have been awarded a 90km section of the HS2 project from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and then on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.
