Technical Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Ability to build effective relationships with clients and other stakeholders, internally & externally.
  • Attend client meetings as sole Ardent representative and deliver updates.
  • Ability to allocate tasks, with responsible delegation and communicate methodology.
  • Demonstrates understanding of working within budget agreed with client / agreed fees and manages own work to scope / quote.
  • Support the Project Manager in the delivery of projects, with the responsibility to deliver elements of the project.
  • Leading sections of the project team in the delivery of elements of the project.
  • Ensure teams follow processes and procedures in line with the QMS and as instructed by the PM/PD.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the importance of cross-selling within Ardent.
  • Develop knowledge and experience of the main enabling acts, supporting other team members in their learning opportunities
  • Develop critical thinking abilities, using gained experience on previous projects to suggest solutions to the PM.
  • Listen to suggested solutions by junior members of the team and have the ability to analyse suggestions.
  • Organise and support the project manager in effective delivery of project deliverables including Book of Reference or equivalent, plans, maps.
  • Be able to produce relevant and appropriate documents and reports that address the requirements accurately and consistently.

Demonstrate the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues in different departments. Demonstrate professional and concise written communication in emails, with attention to detail, having regard to who emails are 'to', 'cc' and when to 'reply all'. As previous and demonstrate proficiency in coordinating smaller projects or tasks, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress. Gaining experience in client interactions, including status updates and project-related discussions.

The role is accountable for the following:

Demonstrate ability to solve problems and undertake research using own initiative. Proactively demonstrate a thirst for knowledge in relation to relevant technical subjects. Demonstrate capability to prepare advice notes for internal review.

The role is accountable for the following:

Demonstrate a clear understanding of all of the services that your Directorate offers and how they support clients throughout the project life-cycle. Develop ability to speak confidently to colleagues and external stakeholders about the services that each Directorate offers. Expand your internal and external professional network through attending events and through regular use of LinkedIn.

H&S/SV

The role is accountable for the following:

Demonstrate capability of completing a risk assessment for site visits, having regard for different risks and hazards, and identifying potential opportunities to mitigate them. Participating in safety training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills.

Finance

The role is accountable for the following:

Demonstrating understanding of basic pricing strategies and factors influencing pricing decisions, including staff costs, on-costs, travel costs and other overheads.
