NDT Technician

POSITION SUMMARY Conduct ultrasonic testing on composite assemblies, ensuring products align with customer acceptance criteria and are produced in accordance with relevant manufacturing instructions and/or specifications. Execute other assigned activities as required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop ultrasonic testing techniques. Generate inspection and Non-Conformance Reports. Maintain test records and analysis results for traceability and proficiency demonstration. Ensure adherence to agreed safety procedures/guidelines when using test equipment and procedures. Provide support to NDT, Quality, and operations functions, promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS: Hold current certification to EN4179 Level 2 in UT (Ultrasonic Testing). Preferred experience with composite materials and the aerospace industry. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong practical skills with high manual dexterity. Excellent concentration, attention to detail, and a methodical approach. Well-organised with the ability to manage various activities and priorities. Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and maintain records. Computer literate, with proficiency in Windows-based systems. Must be reliable, able to work independently, and collaboratively within a team. Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is mandatory for this role and must be upheld.
