We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new build nuclear power station in a generation, critical to the UK's NetZero targets. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality on this prestigious project.
Provide comprehensive Safety and Health advisory services to Project Managers and their teams.
Monitor site compliance with safety standards and propose practical solutions.
Review Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and POWRA.
Conduct HSE audits and targeted inspections.
Collaborate with the client HSE team, business leadership, HR, and training teams on safety initiatives.
Work on various HSE improvement projects.
Prepare presentations and analyse data with other subject matter experts.
Ability to analyse and interpret HSE data for informed decision-making.
Support the development of proactive safety reporting and a continuous improvement safety culture.Recognised Safety qualification (Level 6 NEBOSH diploma or equivalent).
Construction Industry specific training.
PTTLS Level 3 award (desirable).
Ideally 3 years of HSE experience in the nuclear sector or other highly regulated environments.
Experience in safety performance management and influencing construction managers and teams.
Demonstrated multitasking and project management skills.
Experience in managing performance, giving feedback, and implementing changes.
