We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious individual to join us as an Apprentice Site Engineer based from our Head Office in Morley, Leeds, but also spending plenty of time out on site. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from our team, who have vast experience in the industry and develop a long-term career within a dynamic and growing business.
You will receive plenty of on the job training and development and will be paired with an experienced Engineer, who will guide and mentor you. We will also support you to gain a Level 4 Civil Engineering Senior Technician qualification by studying one day per week at Leeds College of Building.
As an Apprentice Site Engineer, you will become involved in all aspects of setting out and surveying on site – setting out earthworks and infrastructure; producing volumes, measures, models and drawings; supporting our site teams with technical queries; carrying out quality control checks and inspections and providing as-built survey records.
If you have the following qualifications, skills and personal qualities, we would love to hear from you:
- At least 5 GCSE’s, including Maths, Science and English at grades 6-9 and a BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma, Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship or one/two A-Levels in a relevant subject, such as Maths or Science.
- Ambitious and committed to a career in the construction industry.
- A desire to learn and develop.
- Accurate and numerate, with a fabulous attention to detail.
- Confident and articulate.
- Reliable and resilient.
- Candidates should hold a full driving licence with access to a car.
