About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an A Level Politics Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Pearson Specification, focusing on the British Political system, Ideology, and Global Politics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in A Level Politics according to the Pearson Specification.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of political concepts.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and improvement.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Politics or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching A Level Politics, preferably with the Pearson Specification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the British Political system, Ideology, and Global Politics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be working toward obtaining one
