Job Description Mechanical Technician - £30k to £40k - EV - Berkshire

As they pioneer clean energy solutions worldwide, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our hydrogen production facilities.

Role: Mechanical Technician
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems within hydrogen production facilities.
Assemble mechanical components and subsystems according to engineering drawings, specifications and assembly procedures.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain records of assembly procedures, test results, maintenance activities, and equipment performance data to ensure accurate documentation for compliance and continual improvement purposes.
Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize mechanical systems for hydrogen production processes.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and reliability of equipment.
Degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in industrial settings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical systems.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and other mechanical equipment used in hydrogen production is advantageous.
