They are seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer and Plumber to join their team in London, working on their flagship contract, This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with previous experience in the building maintenance industry and a varied knowledge of carrying out maintenance duties in a commercial or residential environment. Duties will include but not be limited to: Installation and Maintenance:

  • Install, service, and repair domestic gas appliances such as boilers, cookers, and heaters
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all gas appliances are functioning efficiently and safely.
Plumbing Installation and Repairs:
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Address issues such as leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
Safety Inspections:
  • Perform safety inspections and issue gas safety certificates.
  • Identify and rectify any potential safety hazards in gas and plumbing systems.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
  • Diagnose faults in gas appliances and plumbing systems.
  • Carry out necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal performance.
Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and queries.
  • Offer advice on energy efficiency, appliance care, and plumbing maintenance.
Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and plumbing standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including safety certificates and service reports using our mobile apps.
Emergency Response: * Respond to emergency call-outs and provide timely and effective solutions to gas and plumbing-related issues. Experience and qualifications required:
  • A hardworking, reliable work ethic, flexible as overtime & OOH works may be required depending on client or job requirements.
  • Previous experience in maintenance and building environments, ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
  • A HSE understanding
  • Previous use of handheld technology / smartphone
  • Take pride in doing everything you do to the highest standard
  • A good communicator, who understands the importance of customer service.
  • City and Guilds qualifications or equivalent
Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the building industry
  • Minimum 3 Years of Plumbing Experience
  • Domestic Gas Qualifications
Job Type: Permanent and Full time Working Hours: 8:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
