Lettings Coordinator Newark, Full Time, Permanent Up to £26,000 + Bonus circa £2,000 An exciting opportunity has become available for a Lettings Coordinator to join our successful Newark based property Client. We are looking for a motivated individual with a passion for providing excellent customer service to join the lettings team on a full-time permanent basis. THE ROLE As a Lettings Coordinator you will oversee a wide portfolio of properties. Your key duties will include:
- Carry out property viewings, meeting with landlords and developing existing landlord relationships
- Organise, and carry out property inspections and management visits, reporting back to landlord, and arranging for any necessary remedial work to be undertaken in line with safety legislation
- Responding quickly and efficiently to any tenant queries, urgent maintenance issues, landlord and contractor enquiries
- Ensuring landlords management requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
- Manage the renewal process by successfully negotiating tenancies
- Concluding tenancy agreements, ensuring that procedures at all stages are completed effectively and efficiently
- Ideally have experience within the property/lettings sector or customer facing roles
- Excellent communication skills, a strong telephone manner in addition to strong influencing/negotiation skills
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Conscientious, organised, detailed oriented
- Previous experience using other software applications / CRM systems or databases would be an advantage
- General administrative skills (filing, scanning etc)
- Driving licence essential
