Are you a mechanical whiz who loves tinkering with machinery and keeping things running smoothly? If you’ve got experience in the food manufacturing world and a knack for solving mechanical puzzles, we’ve got the perfect role for you.. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Keeping our production lines up and running with regular maintenance on all the mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical issues pronto, so we can keep downtime to a minimum.
  • Tweaking and improving our maintenance procedures to make everything run even smoother.
  • Working side-by-side with our production teams to tackle any equipment-related hiccups.
  • Logging your maintenance work and keeping track of equipment performance.
  • Making sure we’re always playing by the health and safety rules.
  • Teaming up with other engineers and support staff to hit our maintenance goals.
  • Jumping into continuous improvement projects to boost our production processes.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Solid experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, ideally in food manufacturing.
  • Strong know-how with mechanical systems like conveyors, mixers, pumps, and packaging machines.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
  • Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic gear.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Good at managing your time and staying organized.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Relevant technical qualifications (like an NVQ, HNC, or HND) in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
