The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our client’s products for the Oil and Gas Industry. Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials and components using techniques such as Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Radiography. Analyse test results and make decisions about the acceptability of parts and materials. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems and identify solutions. Document test results and create comprehensive reports for customers or regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines. Interact with customers and clients to answer questions and provide information. Keep up to date with advances in NDT techniques and technology. Maintain and calibrate NDT tools and equipment. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and managing inventory. Skills & Experience Engineering background, ideally within Welding & Fabrication (MIG, TIG, Stick & Submerged Arc) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of NDT techniques including Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Pen, Ultrasonic Testing, and Radiography. PCN Qualified Level 2 minimum Ability to write and maintain reports and records. Willingness to learn and absorb knowledge. Initiative-taking problem-solver with a self-driven approach and adept at clear and succinct verbal and written communication.
