Brownlee Cale are actively recruiting for an experienced Temporary Works Manager who to deliver and major highway repair. You will have overall accountability of Temporary Works management to ensure compliance for site safety / business risk management, you will also responsible for supporting the project team to manage the scheme through to completion. What you will be doing:

  • Checking criteria and independence have been set.
  • Designs are undertaken, checked & approved.
  • To ensure that all TW have satisfactory method related controls.
  • All Work Package Plans for TW are produced and approved.
  • Inspection requirements have been defined.
  • ITPs and Inspection forms have been prepared for use.
  • Delivery of resource has been briefed on TW and hold points.
  • Inspections and permits are issued to Proceed, Load, Dismantle.
  • TW approved Supervisors are executing their duties.
  • All TW are designed, executed & delivered to programme & budget.
  • Supporting the Project team with the day to day management of the project
Who we're looking for Temporary Works Coordinator must have a competent balance of experience, knowledge, training, qualifications:
  • Experience relevant to the type and complexity of the Temporary Works on the project that they will be involved.
  • Previous tunnelling experience would be beneficial. Attended an approved Temporary Work Coordinator training course, or Temporary Works Coordinator Update/Refresher training course (CITB)
  • Site Supervision is experience on civil engineering projects
  • It is desirable, although not essential, to have formal qualifications e.g. HNC, Degree.
Mon - Fri 12 hour shifts Occasional weekend working
