Design Delivery Coordinator

The Design Delivery Coordinator will be part of the Engineering & Technical function within the Civil Works Programme, reporting to the Design Manager. The role involves supporting both the Design Manager and the Engineering & Technical Project Manager, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule aspects are efficiently managed.
When Supporting a Design Manager:
Manage technical Open Points and Design Changes through technical governance processes.
Ensure technical assurance for the end-to-end design and SZC acceptance.
Participate in risk management through Risk Management Processes.
Provide technical input for Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Technical Queries, and General Communications.
Ensure compliance with SZC Engineering and Design processes throughout the design lifecycle.
When Supporting the Engineering & Technical Project Manager:
Provide technical input for Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Technical Queries, and General Communications.
Update the schedule of Engineering & Technical scope in their specific area.
Manage [L3] Design Supply Chain Contracts.
Assist SZC procurement and commercial teams for defined scope areas.
Report on delivery in accordance with SZC Project Reporting requirements.
Knowledge of design activities in heavy civil engineering structures, including reinforced concrete and structural steel, and familiarity with current design standards and practices.
