We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our clients team in the bespoke furniture industry. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities, ensuring all furniture items are received, stored, and dispatched in a timely and organized manner. Your excellent organisational and leadership skills will be essential in managing inventory, training and supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and optimal productivity.
Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of furniture items, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and meet performance targets.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, identifying opportunities to improve stock control and minimise losses.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and purchasing, to forecast and fulfill furniture orders.
Coordinate with suppliers and transport companies to ensure timely delivery of furniture items.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Proven experience in warehouse management/supervisory.
Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems and inventory software (ERP).
Physical stamina and ability to lift furniture items.
