Children’s Residential Support Worker (Part-time)
50 per hour
Type of Contract: Part-time (2-3 days a week, flexible)
Shifts: Day shift, Night Shifts, Weekend Shifts
Start Date: As soon as possible (we appreciate notice periods)
As a Residential Support Worker, your primary mission is to empower children with special needs to grow more independent. With no prior experience required, this is a great opportunity for someone with the heart and determination to work with children. Full training will be provided, so you’ll feel prepared and supported every step of the way. In this role, flexibility is key—whether you choose day shifts or nights, we’ll tailor your work to complement the needs of the site.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding and nurturing young minds, providing essential care, and fostering a supportive environment where the children feel secure and encouraged to explore their potential. You'll monitor their progress, handle day-to-day care, and work closely with a team committed to enriching the lives of these children.
Our residential site is focused on creating an immersive and supportive setting for children with special needs. With hands-on experiences like learning on-site at our farm, the environment is designed to stimulate growth and learning in a child-centered atmosphere. The team is dedicated to fostering positive relationships with both the children and staff, making it a rewarding and uplifting place to work. Plus, you'll be joining a group that promotes rapid internal progression, helping you move forward in your career.
You don’t need formal qualifications or extensive experience—what we’re really looking for is empathy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for helping children. If you've worked with young people or children before, that's a bonus, but not a requirement. If you’re someone who thrives on creating positive relationships and enjoys contributing to a child-focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Flexibility: Work 2-3 days a week, choosing shifts that suit your lifestyle, while still ensuring your schedule aligns with the children’s needs.
* Purposeful Work: Every day, you'll help children progress toward independence, making this a deeply rewarding role.
* Training Provided: Even if you’re new to this type of work, we’ll equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
* If you’re eager to take on a part-time role that offers flexibility, purpose, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape the future for children in Burton who need your care and support
