Our client is a highly successful and reputable manufacturer of specialist technology and consumer electronics to the personal care and cosmetic sectors.

Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a permanent Warehouse Team Leader in Swansea.

Through effective leadership, training/development and engagement of direct reports, and working collaboratively with other company departments:

* Assure the health and safety of staff, contractors and visitors to the area, through ensuring that workplace risks are identified and that safe systems of work and storage are in place;
- Will be a Fire Marshall for the Factory
- Ensure all Quality System and stock recording and traceability requirements are met, with clearly defined procedures in place.
* Ensure that the warehouse is well organised, with high standards of housekeeping, to enable achievement of targets and promote a positive image of the warehouse operation.
* Ensure that warehouse equipment is regularly checked and effectively maintained (racking and forklift trucks)
* Ensure that staff respect Waste Management procedures and identify and implement actions to minimise waste.
* Provide and maintain appropriate key performance indicators to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of warehouse operations.
· Ensure they cycle count the warehouse inventory on a monthly basis > 98% accuracy and maintain and update inventory locations on SAP.
* Hours of work are currently working a 1 shift pattern which is 6-2 but the successful candidate will need to be flexible and be able to work a 2 shift pattern dependant on volumes and customer requirements
this will be 6-2 mornings and 2- 11 Mon-Thursday and 2-6 Fri when on Afternoons.

Experience of working in a manufacturing business in a warehouse / stock management function
· Competent in use of computerised stock management / MRP systems
· Previous supervisory or management experience
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
Competent in use of SAP

Qualifications and training:
including Maths and English
Current Reach and Counterbalance Truck licences
Full Driving Licence

Able to interpret complex data
· Flexible in response to working additional hours and providing support for the business
· Hourly Fixed Salary:
£25 days holiday plus Bank holidays rising to 28 with length of service
