Mechanical Engineer Location: Warrington Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 DOE + Bonus Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (Days-only) Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking for your next challenge? If you can weld its a bonus Key Responsibilities: Carry out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across all site equipment. Work on tanks, vessels, pumps, filling systems, valves and blending equipment. Strip, inspect, and rebuild cress relief valves, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Install and maintain tanks and associated pipework to support production operations. Diagnose faults, prioritise maintenance tasks, and minimise downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on plant reliability and performance. Participate in engineering projects including commissioning, installations, and equipment relocations. Work to high standards on a COMAH-regulated site, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Record and log maintenance activities accurately using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). About You: Apprentice trained or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience within a chemical or COMAH-regulated manufacturing environment. Proven background in mechanical maintenance or multi-skilled engineering. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Keen to learn and develop professionally – the company is willing to invest and train the right person to a high standard. What's in It for You?
