We are seeking a UX content strategist who is a mixture of a writer, a researcher, and a problem-solver. The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills such as content strategy, user research, writing/editing, information architecture, collaboration, usability testing, analytics, creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability. You will collaborate with UX designers, developers, marketers, and stakeholders to create clear, concise, and consistent content that aids users in achieving their objectives and aligns with the brand’s voice and tone.

Responsibilities include developing comprehensive content strategies based on user needs, conducting research, producing engaging copy, organizing information effectively, collaborating with teams, conducting usability testing, analyzing data, thinking creatively, paying attention to detail, and adapting to changing environments. You will primarily focus on writing and editing various components like headlines, labels, buttons, menus, instructions, errors, notifications, and emails. Additionally, you will oversee content audits, user research, usability testing, and content governance to ensure that the content satisfies user needs and business goals.

• Writing and editing user-facing content for websites, apps, and digital products
• Collaboration with UX designers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Conducting user research to comprehend user needs and behaviors
• Developing content guidelines, style guides, and strategies for optimized user experience
• Maintaining a consistent voice and tone across all user-facing content
• Creating content inventories, templates, libraries, standards, and best practices
• Working with developers to ensure proper content implementation
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field
• Working knowledge of content management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications or other authoring tools
• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Job Type: Contract
• Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 8 per week
• Experience level: 11+ years, with 5 years specifically in in-product writing
