Location: Farnborough (with flexibility for remote working and alternate locations)

We are dedicated to connecting the disconnected and bridging the connectivity gap by utilising enterprise-grade wireless technologies such as 5G FWA, LEO Sat and 5GPCN, to name a few.
What sets us apart is our ability to deliver connectivity in the most remote or challenging environments, as evidenced by our groundbreaking work with the UK's Met Office or, more recently, our work supporting UK Defence, providing mission-critical connectivity to over 20,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
Established in January 2013 with a robust 11-year CAGR of 32%, UK Connect connects over 2,500 sites yearly to advanced wireless communications and IoT solutions.
We are a small but agile business of 55 people. UK Connect's growth has been organic and via referrals with a sales team of five people. As the Head of Sales, you'll join a financially robust and agile company poised for explosive growth. You will lead, develop, and hire a sales team that will transform our commercial trajectory and propel UK Connect to new heights of success.
You should be an experienced head of sales who is willing to embrace the opportunity to build and lead the sales department. You will have a record of commercial success in telecommunications, IoT, or a related high-tech industry. Expertise in navigating complex bids and tenders, particularly in the public and private FTSE 100 sector, is essential. Hire and develop a dynamic team, setting ambitious targets and driving performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align sales and marketing with UK Connect's strategic vision.
Support the executive team in strategic development, including building industry partnerships.
Craft and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue growth targets, aligned with the strategic objectives of "Retention & Growth" and "New Market Expansion."
Engage closely with the pre-sales solutions team and other technical units, including service delivery and service desk, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Ensure accurate sales reporting and data compliance to support data-driven decision-making.
Represent UK Connect at industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility and network, in line with our strategic marketing initiatives.
In-depth experience within a senior commercial role, preferably in the enterprise sales or telecommunications industry.
Experience running bids and tender responses with a good understanding of public and private sector frameworks.
Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on building and developing high-performing teams.
