If you’re the type of person who feels valued and a sense of achievement accelerating the broader team by designing and building development tools and test fixtures, then we’ve got the perfect role for you At LEX Diagnostics, were recruiting for an experienced mechanical design engineer to take charge of the tool and fixture design across various teams including Engineering, reagent production, cartridge manufacturing, and assay development.
Ideally, you will have prior experience in either the medical device industry or another regulated sector, demonstrating ISO 13485 compliance. You’re an experienced mechanical design engineer who enjoys creating tools and fixtures that lead to success.
Designing or modifying prototype parts to refine final product design.
Experience using CAD design software, ideally Solidworks.
Mechanical Engineer degree or equivalent experience.
Able to perform a analysis using GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Capable of conducting manual calculations and employing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to guide design decisions.
