I am recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a talented Full-Stack Developer to join a leading fintech brokerage firm in London, where you will have the chance to work on innovative projects and contribute to the evolution of financial technology solutions. The role is Full-Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on back-end development to join their dynamic team. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge financial technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for brokerage trading and finance operations, including Head of Product, Business Analyst and Infrastructure Engineer
  • Design and implement scalable and secure back-end systems using technologies such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL, and Object Relation Modelling.
  • Develop robust front-end applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js and jQuery, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
  • Use Microsoft .Net, .Net Core, and .Net MVC to build and maintain mission-critical applications.
  • Work with Microsoft Azure cloud services to deploy and manage software solutions efficiently.
  • Implement containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes for seamless deployment and scalability.
  • Develop APIs for integration with client back-office infrastructure, ensuring smooth communication and data exchange.
  • Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing, builds, and deployments with support from Infrastructure Engineers.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through version control systems like GitHub and Agile development methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Excellent ability as a Full-Stack Developer with proven experience in software engineering and programming.
  • General knowledge of FX transactions and workflows within a brokerage or trading environment.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Vue.js, JSON, and Spring Boot for front-end development.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies including .Net, .Net Core, .Net MVC, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, and Oracle, along with Object Relation Modelling.
  • Familiarity with Git version control, Docker, Kubernetes, IIS, and Active Directory.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, delivering high-quality software solutions on time.
  • Exposure to Android/iOS development and familiarity with trading platforms are advantageous.
  • Experience in API development for integration with client back-office infrastructure.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Python programming language.
  • Previous experience working in a trading environment within a fintech or brokerage firm.
