Quality Engineer

Citrus Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a leading automotive company, recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to be based in Coleshill.
Working with the designers and engineers you will play a pivotal role ensuring the highest standards of quality are meet and processes adhered too.
Responsibilities & day to day duties:
As a Quality Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Maintain and operate within IATF16949 quality system requirements and customer-specific requirements.
- SPC/R&R and MSA: Maintain and monitor statistical process control, measurement systems analysis, and capability.
- Support Assembly/Project teams in creating and maintaining core tools documentation required for customer submissions.
- Engage with customers and suppliers on quality issues from planning processes to problem-solving/resolutions.
- Complete internal and external audits in line with company and industry standards like IATF16949 and ISO14001.
Skills & experience required:
- HND in Mechanical/Production Eng./Manufacturing or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance Engineer role.
- Proficiency in automotive quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D problem-solving.
- Good knowledge of automotive new business practices like PPAP and APQP.
Benefits:
- Salary of up to £50,000 DOE
- 20 days holiday plus bank holiday
