We are searching for an AWS Solutions Architect to grow and lead the AWS practice at a rapidly growing Professional and Managed Service Provider.

Role Overview: The Solution Lead takes charge of developing and advancing strategic opportunities within their solution area. They support sales from initial qualification to successful handover to technical teams. Acting as a liaison between sales and technical teams, they enhance communication and collaboration. The role involves promoting services to partners, vendors, and stakeholders, as well as contributing to solution offerings and mentoring the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural solutions development by understanding customer needs, evaluating suitable solutions, and providing technical leadership.
  • Conduct pre-sales meetings, ensure solution consistency, and conduct workshops with customers.
  • Establish strong relationships with channel partners and vendors, contributing to future service offerings.
  • Drive solution development, collaborate with sales and marketing teams, and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Provide mentorship and technical assurance to team members, ensuring quality and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
  • Track record in mentoring teams, taking ownership, and delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Proficiency in networking, problem-solving, and adapting to complex challenges.
  • Relevant experience in AWS, cloud architecture, DevOps, security, migrations, and data analytics preferred.

Qualifications:

  • AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification is desirable.
  • Experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, security, migrations, and data analytics beneficial.
