Graduate – Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer - Space / Satellite / Imaging – On site in Chelmsford

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Hardware Engineer anywhere from graduate level to principal. Additionally, electrical hardware is essential for operating and managing the drive and acquisition of their high-speed imaging sensors.


Designing PCBs for space applications, including selecting components, capturing schematics, conducting analyses, documenting processes, defining stack-ups, and managing external layouts.
Developing and presenting design concepts to meet internal and external specifications, while maintaining compliance verification matrices for electrical requirements.
Preparing and presenting electrical design documentation for internal and external gate reviews, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
Leading verification and testing of electronics, producing clear, structured documentation.
Mentoring team members and adhering to high-reliability electronics standards for experienced candidates.

Capability to develop electronic designs that bring innovation and enhance both new and existing testing systems.
Essential skills in PCB CAD, with preference given to familiarity with CADENCE or ALTIUM.
Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and electrical interfaces.
Skill in presenting technical information and intricate electrical designs in a clear and understandable manner.
Experience with space electronics is a plus.
