The company has completed and is currently working on projects in different sectors of the UK construction industry.
We have exciting opportunities for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our firm. This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Elkoms Consulting. The role is either located in the London Office or Southampton Office United Kingdom, with flexibility for remote work.
You will be working alongside the project leader and will be responsible for developing designs and producing reports, specifications, and guidance or overseeing testing and commissioning activities. Good command of AutoCAD and Revit is also essential.
We work closely as a team to ensure we achieve the best results and deliver a consistently high-quality service for our clients.
Design Engineering, Machine Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Product Design skills
~5+ years experience in Mechanical Design Engineering in a building services environment.
~ Worked on a wide variety of building types of different sizes, capable of designing systems throughout.
~ Comfortable liaising with clients and leading small/medium size projects
~ Ability to mentor more junior members of staff and cultivate strong teams
~ Experience in computer-aided design (REVIT AND CAD)
~ Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
~ Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
