Our client is a VC backed international operation with an interesting cultural blend of being highly professional and profit focused, yet with the additional reward of making a valuable humanitarian contribution to society on the World stage. The business are specialists in the delivery of services to the construction sector (windfarms, marine construction and other).
Due to their ongoing growth they seek to appoint a capable, diligent and ambitious Project Coordinator into a brand-new role. You will pick up responsibility for the supporting of projects, working closely with Project managers, field-based team(s) and with external customers and suppliers, ensuring that operations run as smoothly as possible. You will position yourself as the go to person, utilising your advanced planning and organisation skills to avoid problems, that might otherwise present themselves.
As a Project Coordinator, your role will include:

Being integral in maintaining and owning the relationship and regular communication with field contractors.
Monitoring project expenditure, assisting with the planning and costing as well as month end costing administration.
Managing the mobilisation of the field staff, including air travel, accommodation and Visas/Work permits.
Accurate management of the integrity of data whilst creating reports.
Acting as a point of contact for incoming project correspondence, monitoring the progress of assigned projects, including equipment levels and field reports.
Experience of working within a project-based environment would be an advantage.
