We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Sushi Chef to join our growing team at Sunset Hospitality Group – UK.

Reopening in September 2024 following exciting refurbishments, Sachi is a renowned restaurant and rooftop bar in Belgravia offering best in class Japanese food and drink. From restaurant to omakase, our unique ‘kappo ryori’ culinary approach takes centre stage. Across its two floors, Sachi is a haven for the Japanese way of living filled with art, music and Japanese flavours.

We are looking for a Head Sushi Chef to work alongside our award-wining Head Chef leading our Omakase and Sushi teams. This position will work closely with our Head Chef in the day to day management of the kitchen.

Maintain exceptional quality of food adhering to standards of excellence.
Ensure that the Sushi and Omakase sections support the restaurant by providing outstanding service to guests.
Establish, maintain and monitor the highest standards of hygiene and health & safety in accordance with all statutory, legal and company requirements.
Inspection of product quality during and after preparation, and makes adjustments as required.
Assist in creation and implementation of seasonal menu changes, in conjunction with Head Chef.
Training and education of junior chefs in sushi and omakase techniques.

Previous experience in similar role and within fast paced environment experience in Michelin starred or premium restaurant.
Excellent knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, Sanitation, and Personal Hygiene basics.
