The UK Defence Chief Technology and Digital Officer is a highly specialised professional with deep UK Defence industry knowledge and extensive CIO or CTO experience. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, UK Defence experience, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.

A minimum of 10 years of experience, in technology leadership roles (CIO / CTO), with a proven track record of technical leadership, driving innovation and delivering technology solutions in a complex organisational environment.
Experience working across various UK Defence to bring a breadth of perspective and expertise to the role.
Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute a technology vision that aligns with business goals.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current and emerging technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software development.
Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address technology-related challenges and opportunities.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology and data security.
A forward-thinking, innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business success.
Experience leading technology change initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
