PHP Developer - Legacy Application - Altrincham - £50K
(1/2 days a week in the office)
An industry leading, highly innovative fintech company who are based in Altrincham are looking to add an experienced PHP Developer to their growing Development team.
The company are currently going through a crucial transition period and this role will play a key part - their core back end management system needs support and maintenance in its current state (This is a legacy PHP system so you must be comfortable working with older versions of PHP and using core language functionality without a modern framework) however looking to the future, you will be involved in implementing new changes and potentially new technology, as they move away from this core system.
The successful PHP Developer will be someone who is not afraid to get stuck in - you will be involved in application maintenance, system debugging, code reviewing as well as be someone who can bring in ideas / thoughts and realism to the next steps around their core system.
