Location: Manchester, UK - Hybrid working available - up to 70k

The Role

The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for monitoring existing dealers, identifying trends, and resolving issues. The position provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an effective Early Warning Indication suite
  • Conduct comprehensive portfolio reviews and execute strategies to address issues
  • Provide support to customers, including forbearance agreements
  • Manage Watch List status and oversee rehabilitation strategies
  • Advise on portfolio risk monitoring for specialist products

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in lending to commercial customers across various product types
  • Proven ability to make risk-weighted decisions under pressure
  • Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Adaptable and proactive approach to problem-solving
