Workshop Recruitment are looking for experienced roofers to work on various fabric maintenance contracts in the Portsmouth area, you may be required to work in the wider Hampshire area from time to time. This is for one of our clients whose property portfolio includes, but not limited to, Social Housing, Schools, Public Conveniences, Offices, Heritage Sites and Museums.
A wide variety of roofing repairs at occupied homes, buildings and empty properties. pitch, and flat roof repairs including replacement of tiles, felt, eave trays, lead repairs/replacement, mineral sheet repairs/replacement (torch on), and non-licenced asbestos removal (where full training will be given).
Ensure your van is clean and tidy with ease of access to tools, equipment, and van stock at all times.
To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.
Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry working on historic / listed buildings.
Be comfortable in dealing with residents / building representatives and always remain professional.
NVQ level 2-3 in roofing or equivalent.
Clean, Manual, Driving License
experience of working in Social Housing or Building Maintenance environment.
