Title: Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in the Market front of house, back of house and Vendor Kitchens and Kiosks. Preparing and executing preventative maintenance schedules. Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the Market, planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
Responds to engineering and maintenance concerns.
Performs and/or monitors maintenance and preventative maintenance projects.
Responds to all building related safety concerns and breakdowns
Supports Market (CMMS) computerised maintenance management system and executes daily, weekly and monthly checklists.
Supervises all additional maintenance associates.
Maintain the Market front of house and back of the areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained Market
A strong background of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry
Experience in and a general understanding of miscellaneous M&R processes including, painting, drywall etc.
Ability to communicate in English, management, co-workers and vendors.
Ability to work a variety of varying schedules including nights and weekends
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
