Are you a talented Trade Mark Solicitor with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, looking to advance your career within a leading IP team? My client, a prestigious award winning firm based in the heart of London, is seeking an ambitious and dedicated solicitor to join the dynamic team.

My client is renowned for providing exceptional IP services to a diverse range of clients, from innovative start-ups to multinational corporations. With a reputation built on excellence and a deep understanding of the complexities of intellectual property law, this firm offers a collaborative and stimulating work environment where professional growth is actively encouraged.

What you will enjoy:

The opportunity to develop your experience of contentious intellectual property further by working on trade mark, patent, design and copyright cases, as well as licensing and other IP-related disputes, including:

  • Pre-action advisory work
  • Infringement and validity proceedings (IPEC, High Court and Patents Court)
  • Oppositions and invalidity proceedings (UKIPO and EUIPO)
  • Co-ordinating foreign proceedings and liaising with overseas counsel
  • Anti-counterfeiting work including Customs/Trading Standards actions
  • Domain name disputes (Nominet and UDRP)
  • Company Names Tribunal cases
  • Online take-down actions
  • Providing commercial law advice, drafting and advising on commercial contracts with an IP angle, including:
  • Licence and collaboration agreements
  • Non-disclosure agreements
  • Assignments

What you will need:

  • Experience of contentious trade mark and patent proceedings
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice, University of Oxford
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships with both colleagues and clients
  • Excellent academics
