You will provide clinical pharmacy service to a variety of clinical areas and support dispensary team. Band 7 and 8a positions are available, depending on clinical skills and previous hospital experience.


The Pharmacy Department provides a supportive environment for professional development with a range of experienced and specialist senior pharmacists.


Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
Whilst providing a clinical pharmacy service you will be expected to offer advice to medical, nursing, other healthcare staff and patients on all aspects of the safe & effective use of medicines.


This includes facilitating reconciliation, prescribing advice, discharge planning and patient counselling and supporting clinical trials process. The pharmacy team has a wide range of qualified staff including technicians and assistants who will assist you in your day-to-day role.


The Trust is keen to support the professional development of the entire pharmacy workforce and you will be expected to support, motivate and engage with others.


You must be a registered pharmacist with the GPhC, hold a post-graduate diploma or equivalent, and be able to demonstrate evidence of your Continued Professional Development (CPD).

Experience in hospital / clinical pharmacy
Experience of providing education and training to pharmacy staff or other healthcare professionals
