SEO Manager - Digital Agency SaaS

We’re seeking an experienced SEO Manager who is passionate about the latest SEO trends and their impact on enterprise clients.

This Digital Marketing Agency specifically specialise in SaaS SEO, leveraging human expertise, data analysis, and automation. Therefore prior experience working with Software as a Service clients, is key

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience managing multiple key big brand accounts simultaneously, working at a fast-pace and handling enterprise-level SEO budgets often ranging from £20,000 to £50,000 or more per month. This budget typically covers comprehensive SEO strategies, large-scale content production, advanced technical SEO, extensive link-building campaigns, and dedicated account management.

Responsibilities

  • Define client KPIs and create strategies to meet them.
  • Delegate tasks to content, outreach, technical, and SEO teams.
  • Conduct keyword research and SERP analysis.
  • Develop content strategies and ensure effective execution.
  • Create client reports (preferably using Data Studio).
  • Train new strategists and identify skill gaps.
  • Forecast resource needs and collaborate with project managers.
  • Improve current processes and develop new ones with the head of operations.
  • Assist in client retention, upselling, and pitches as needed.
  • Serve as an SEO authority within the team.
  • Develop comprehensive SEO strategies, including content, on-page tactics, outreach, link building, and technical SEO for a handful of key, enterprise accounts.
  • Coordinate expert teams to execute your strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Provide technical SEO support and training to improve processes.

About You

  • Extensive SEO experience at a specialist level within an Agency/SEO Agency
  • Knowledge and experience with link-building campaigns
  • Have worked with enterprise-level SEO budgets (over £20k/month preferably)
  • You naturally thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where no two days are the same and you are expected to work at pace
  • Experience managing SaaS clients - required
  • You are very familiar with managing a small, high-value portfolio of clients and being accountable for meeting their deadlines and delivering ROI.
  • Time management skills is critical for this role
