Together, they manage two of Scotlands four Trunk Road Maintenance Contracts (South-East & North-West) for Transport Scotland. Their commitment to innovation, flexibility, and operational excellence continues to drive improvements across the countrys vital transport infrastructure.
This is a unique chance to lead and contribute to the planning, design, and maintenance of Scotlands key trunk road infrastructure.
Supervise a team of engineers, technicians, sub-consultants, and contractors to deliver road maintenance and improvement schemes.
Deliver Technical Excellence: Oversee the design, procurement, and construction management of road maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
Project Management: Develop project plans, manage budgets, and monitor project performance from inception to completion.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) procedures as part of the companys integrated management systems.
Innovation and Sustainability: Identify innovative solutions for road maintenance challenges, incorporating sustainability into project designs.
Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with professional membership (IEng or CEng) with an appropriate body (e.g., Experience: Proven experience in the design, maintenance, and management of highways or road projects.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in project management and statutory health and safety processes, including CDM Regulations.
Driving Licence: A valid UK driving licence is essential.
