Welder (Permanent)

Welder Job Title: Welder Salary: £13.81 PAYE/ £18.23 Umbrella per hour Work hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-13:00 Location: Farnborough Contract: 12 month fixed term contract Overtime available and paid at an enhanced rate of time and a half. This busy manufacturing business are looking for a Welder to join their team on a fixed term contract basis with the possibility to extend. As a Welder your duties will include: Reading blueprints and drawings Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements) Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) The successful Welder will ideally have the below skills and experience: Welding - TIG Worked with stainless steel Aerospace background (Ideal but essential) If you are interested in this Welder position, click apply Now or contact Sami @ Orion Reading.
