Overview and Responsibilities
Working as the Head of Payroll you will oversee a dedicated team and report directly to the Finance Director, with additional support from the HR Director.

As the Head of Payroll, you will lead a team responsible for processing two monthly payrolls covering over 1,600 employees across multiple entities. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while staying abreast of regulatory requirements and advising on related matters. You will also play a key role in transitioning acquired companies onto the payroll system.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a payroll team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
Address complex payroll issues and queries with discretion and efficiency
Oversee the processing of essential payroll documents and benefits schemes
Drive improvements in payroll procedures and analysis

Skills and Experience Required
Technical Skills:
CIPP qualification preferred
Extensive payroll experience, including leadership roles in a similar-sized organization
Proficiency in payroll systems and compliance practices
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with payroll software
Experience with Zellis Resourcelink is advantageous

Soft Skills:
Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail
Discretion when handling confidential information
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Collaborative mindset with a focus on building relationships
Adaptability to diverse priorities and working styles

Location
This role is based at the company's headquarters in West London, with flexible working arrangements available.
