About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in the Symfony and Laravel frameworks to join a dynamic IT team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to high-impact projects that enhance and upgrade our Moodle platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain PHP applications using the Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and streamline development processes.
  • Engage in architectural design and SQL database management.
  • Improve and upgrade our Moodle platform, including the implementation of multi-tenancy features.
  • Redesign and enhance the user interface to improve user experience.
  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with PHP programming, specifically in Symfony and Laravel frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Docker and architectural design principles.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with database management.
  • Familiarity with Moodle is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary IT teams, including DevOps and Kubernetes infrastructure teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
