Job Description

We are seeking a construction lawyer to join an in-house legal team for an energy company on a fixed term basis. You will have gained construction law experience in house within the renewable energy sector. Alternatively, you are acting for renewable energy project developers in private practice. You will be reporting to the Head of Legal Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with and providing legal support to business teams
  • Drafting, negotiating and reviewing construction project contracts
  • Advising on resolution of disputes and litigation in the context of construction projects
  • Advising on commercial and regulatory issues and risk management
  • JCT, FIDIC Silverbook and Yellowbook and bespoke contracts
