What you’ll do Working within an agile delivery team,your role as Tech Lead will involve providing technical leadership, participating in product design discussions, drive technical design, ensure best in class development processes are followed whilst ensuring maintenance of our environments is a priority.
We would like you to be customer obsessed in your approach to quality and delivery.

Responsibilities will involve:
  • Supporting our product and Software Development Managers in prioritisation, scoping, and helping to lead the delivery of product features in our exciting world of Future State Architecture.
  • You’ll be part of our development team helping to enhance scalability, performance, maintainability, configurability, and usability.
  • You’ll be responsible for helping to support, mentor, and coach other members of the team.
  • You will be involved in the entire life cycle of features, including idea creation, deployment, and longer-term updates and enhancements.
  • You’ll full autonomy to work on a wide variety of different challenges across the product and codebase.

We're looking for a Tech Lead who has good working knowledge and experience of React Native. We’d also like you to have experience of leading Developers for at least a year.

You’ll have experience liaising with stakeholders in areas such as Product, UX, DevOps, Architecture and more.

We’re looking for you to have the ability to translate difficult business requirements into software designs your team can understand and implement.

  • Comfortable challenging and raising issues at any level.

  • Familiar working with agile development teams on large software products.
  • Ability to lead a team both remotely and office based.

Technical Skillset:
  • Experience using React Native.
  • Unit testing experience
  • Version control with Git
  • Knowledge of APIs (Restful APIs, OpenAPI specs.
  • Container technology experience (Docker, docker-compose.
  • Experience with one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google.
  • Database experience
  • Experience with messaging technology (RabbitMQ, ServiceBus.

Additionally, the following skill areas would be advantageous:
  • Knowledge of EPOS systems/hospitality industry.
  • Native mobile development (iOS, Android)
  • Experience working within Agile/scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of TFS/Azure DevOps.
