We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Lead/Senior Software Engineer to join our team building Elevate , our premier SaaS monetisation platform. This is a critical point in our journey as we scale and refine the product to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers while maintaining our strong focus on innovation and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, understand and maintain the vision and 'big picture' of the solution, questioning and refining requirements whilst helping shape and deliver the future technical road-map.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, customers, and the wider team to ensure alignment between technical deliverables and business goals.
  • Deliver high-quality software through iterative development practices, including TDD/BDD, clean code, and continuous integration.
  • Actively contribute to architectural decisions , focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Help lead efforts in identifying and addressing technical debt , ensuring the platform is resilient and maintainable.
  • Refactor, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing software with a focus on delivering value to both internal and external customers.
  • Work with a security-first mindset , ensuring the solution safeguards both business and customer interests.
  • Act as a technical mentor to other engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering growth through collaboration, pair programming, and running knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Have a KAIZEN mindset , constantly seeking opportunities to improve processes, product, technology, collaboration, everything

Experience Required

Must have:

  • Extensive experience in Java and associated frameworks (e.g. Spring , Hibernate ,).
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering scalable, secure and resilient software solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms ( AWS preferred) and modern CI/CD practices (including Git , Docker ,)
  • Experience working in modern software teams using agile methodologies e.g. Kanban
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Good-to-have:

  • Proficiency with test-driven development (TDD) and BDD.
  • Any experience in scripting and Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g. React, Angular).
